Punda Maria Rest Camp
Punda Maria is the most Northern SAN Parks (South Africa National Parks) rest camp. It is a small camp with a few nice tent houses. At the border with Mozambique and Zimbabwe lies “Crooks Corner”, a beautiful area with lots of wildlife. Reservations for the rest camps can be made at the SAN Parks website: www.sanparks.org
Shingwedzi Rest Camp
Shingwedzi Rest Camp is close to the river. This makes the camp a great spot for viewing crocs, hippo’s and lots of other animals that like the water. Shingwedzi has been rebuild a few years ago because it had been flooded.
Olifants Rest Camp
The camp is situated on a hill over-viewing the Olifants river. The houses in the camp have gorgeous views over the river and surrounding land.
Satara Rest Camp
Satara is one of the bigger camps. It is know for its lions and leopards. The hunters like this area because of its grasslands. It is a beautiful camp with lots of facilities like a swimming pool.
Skukuza Rest Camp
Skukuza is the main rest camp in the Kruger. It is also the administration head quarter. Skukuza has a lot of facilities.
